This latest incident occurred within a reserve, were an unknown man was surfing when a shark bit his right foot and hand. He could make it back to shore by himself. It is known if the shark severed the foot and hand or not.

This was the 2nd incident in 2 weeks. Considering the number of bites (3 fatal ones) with the last 2 years, an increase of bites is noticeable.
