The 20-year old Jana Lutteropp from Germany got bitten while snorkeling 60 to 70m off of 'White Rock'. She lost her right arm, and was also bitten in the foot. She was unconscious when brought to shore. She is in critical condition. when she was bitten at about 5pm the water was choppy and murky. One day earlier, a kite surfer got bitten in his board. That incident took also place in Maui. So far this year, 8 incidents occurred in Hawaii.
